Members of our lodge accompanied Simone Enfer-Doy, the CEO of Lifelites at the Iron Bridge on Saturday. This is a stop on a nationwide tour by Simone of heritage sites in all the Masonic provinces. Simone has been conveyed or escorted from venue to venue by Brethren in various forms of transport: her trip from Hereford to Shropshire was with the aid of motorcycling masons, including The Widow’s Sons, and her journey onwards to Cheshire was in a 1969 Triumph TR5 kindly provided and driven by Ian Thomas.
Simone was presented with a cheque for Lifelites in the sum of £1000 from the SMCA and she in turn presented a certificate in acknowledgment of the support from the province.
